Week 3: Day 14

On the morning of Saturday May 31st, we spent our time at the office working on our midterm reports which include information about the site visits, office visits, and field trips thus far.

In the afternoon we had a lecture about form-work design. The lecture was given by the company Meva who was represented by the UAE General Manager Joe Farina, and the technical coordination Manager-ME projects, Fuson Tanoz Sargeant. The presentation included the typical form work design used and also the advantages and disadvantages of materials used. Joe Farina also gave insight about the key terminology that is used when discussing Form-work.

In the evening Mr. Abdallah brought us to the Mall of the Emirates to go out to Chili's. Then we went to see the movie Chef.
